Cambridge A Level Physics

The Cambridge A Level Grade 12 Physics curriculum (syllabus 9702) extends the AS content by covering advanced topics including circular motion, gravitational fields, temperature and thermodynamics, ideal gases, oscillations, electric and magnetic fields, capacitance, alternating currents, quantum physics, nuclear physics, medical physics, and astronomy and cosmology . It is assessed through Paper 4 (A Level Structured Questions, 2 hours, 100 marks) and Paper 5 (Planning, Analysis and Evaluation, 1 hour 15 minutes, 30 marks), together contributing 50% to the final A Level grade and requiring students to demonstrate advanced problem-solving and experimental design skills.
