Welcome to LevelUp ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services, including tutoring bookings, course packs, quizzes, and related features (the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

The platform is designed for South African learners. If you are under 18, you should use the Services with the guidance and permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must provide accurate profile information and keep it up to date.
• You may not attempt to access accounts, data, or features that you are not authorized to use.

4. Tutoring bookings

• Tutors and students are expected to act respectfully and professionally during sessions.
• Session availability is shown based on tutor-provided availability and may change.
• Meeting links may be provided through embedded video tooling or third-party meeting services.

5. Payments, tokens, and subscriptions

Certain Services require payment. Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers (for example PayFast). Pricing, token bundles, and subscription tiers may change over time.

• Token balances represent platform credit and are generally non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law or explicitly stated.
• Subscription plans (if offered) may renew automatically until cancelled in accordance with the subscription workflow.
• If a payment succeeds but your balance does not update, contact support with your payment reference for reconciliation.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt platform availability.

7. Content and intellectual property

Course content, branding, and platform software are owned by LevelUp and/or our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell platform content unless explicitly permitted.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that tutoring will result in specific academic outcomes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LevelUp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

10. Termination and account deletion

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if you violate these Terms or if we need to protect users, the platform, or comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your account from your profile settings. Once processed, account access is removed and active sessions are terminated.

We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
